Mac Ilusión at Babykid Spain + FIMI
We are delighted to share our experience at the Babykid Spain + FIMI Fair, held in Valencia in June 2024. This event has been an ideal platform to present our latest collections and connect with professionals in the children’s fashion industry. It has been a unique opportunity to showcase our work and learn about the emerging trends that will define the coming year.
Children’s Fashion from Spain
One of the great novelties of this edition was the Children’s Fashion from Spain initiative, in which ICEX played a fundamental role. In collaboration with ASEPRI and FIMI, we worked to promote Spanish children’s fashion in the international market, strengthening the visibility and prestige of our brands beyond our borders.
This initiative has allowed Mac Ilusión and other Spanish brands to reach a broader and more diversified audience, consolidating our presence on the global stage.
Sustainability was a highlighted trend at FIMI Spring-Summer. This event has become an essential event for professionals in the children’s fashion sector who want to be aware of the latest trends. Clothing and footwear made from sustainable materials were presented, as well as packaging made from recycled materials, reflecting the growing importance of environmental responsibility in the industry.
International level
Babykid Spain + FIMI has reaffirmed itself as the leading event in the children’s universe, with a notable increase in visitors from 40 different countries. The quality of the exhibitors has created a first-class showcase in fashion, childcare, toys and footwear. According to the vice president of ASEPRI, “we have once again found that meeting point between stores and manufacturers, which has meant that we can say that this edition has had a great result.” This success is largely due to the increase in professional buyers, driven by entities such as ICEX or IVACE International.
Mac Illusion objectives achieved
We are pleased to share that we more than met our objectives at the fair. Visitors appreciated our collection in its entirety. The variety of options and colours delighted our clients, who also congratulated us on our excellent presentation of the stand at the fair, considered one of the best.
The collections that stood out the most were “Gorgeous,” “Lively,” “Picturesque,” “Vibrant” and “Florid.” and for special occasions “Sensitive”. The colours that attracted the most attention were nude, aquatic, apricot, blossom, kiss, calypso and cream.

New clients and relationships
In addition, we managed to attract new clients, both nationally and internationally. It was also a pleasure to welcome the models and their parents to our stand, and some even took their souvenir posters with them. This direct interaction with our customers and little models allowed us to obtain valuable feedback and strengthen our relationship with the community.
Our participation in Babykid Spain + FIMI has been an enriching experience and we are proud to have been part of this significant event for children’s fashion. We will continue to innovate and offer the best in children’s fashion, with a focus on the design and quality that characterises us.
