In the vibrant heart of Manhattan, a new platform is born, destined to transform the landscape of children’s fashion: Children’s Show, the new Children’s Fashion Show in New York. Held with great success on February 11 and 12, this international fair marks a milestone in the industry by offering a unique space to present the latest trends and fashion collections for the little ones.

MAC ILUSIÓN has represented the talent and quality of Spanish children’s fashion at this event and has contributed to enriching the diversity and appeal of the Children’s Show.

First of all, Children’s Show is not just another fair; is a custom event meticulously designed to capture the attention of American retailers, boutiques and department stores, as well as European brands and designers with a classic chic style and a high focus on children’s fashion. The experience focuses on creating meaningful connections between exhibitors and buyers, offering a dynamic and intimate platform with a personalised work agenda and exclusive attention.

This concentration of talent and creativity has consolidated the Children’s Show as an essential event in the global children’s fashion calendar.

On the other hand, the United States, being the third most important market for Spanish children’s fashion outside of Europe, offers a dynamic and competitive scene for international brands. New York, along with the states of Florida, Atlanta and Texas, represents important market niches for Spanish children’s fashion and footwear brands. The first edition of Children’s Show attracted the attention of clients from the East Coast and Central America, who especially valued the renewed classic style and the “made in Spain” quality of these brands.

Aware of the challenges presented by the US market, Spanish brands recognise the importance of having a solid commercial strategy that includes local agents, a physical presence at fairs and events, as well as a prominent online presence. The online channel represents a significant aspect of sales, making up 42% of the total, in a market that has approximately 9,000 children’s fashion stores.

Children’s Show is also notable for its commitment to sustainability and ecological responsibility. From the construction and decoration of the fair itself to collaborations with local businesses, the fair strives to adopt environmentally friendly practices across all aspects.

In this way, this attention to eco-responsibility is reflected in the selection of materials and production processes of the participating brands, including MAC ILUSIÓN, which has maintained a prominent presence on the international scene thanks to its focus on technological innovation and the use of high-quality environmentally friendly materials such as Dralon and natural fibres.

Finally, at the fair, MAC ILUSIÓN presented its 2024-2025 winter novelties to the American market for the first time. With more than 50 years of experience specialising in the manufacture of hand-knitted baby and children’s clothing, the brand continues to stand out for its variety of over 100 styles and more than 7 colour choices. This, together with its commitment to excellence and creativity in the design of children’s clothing, reaffirms its position as a benchmark in children’s fashion internationally.
